A Dance Between Heaven and Hell (DEMO)

Hello, wayward spirits! I created this project during my final year of university. The game will be uploaded on the 16th of May at 2 pm BST as part of my project. Quite a lot of the scenes and features are missing, as well as features that will be part of the final game. I hope you enjoy the game in its bare bones. Any feedback would be helpful, but keep in mind it's just a Demo. 

The game is 2400x1350 (landscape) but was originally in portrait, and some of the assets in the Prologue, e.g. the CGs, haven't been updated yet. Currently, only the demo can be played on a web browser, and the story and assets may differ in the final game. The demo currently contains only the Heaven Route. Made with Visual Novel Maker.

About:

You find yourself in Purgatory, your soul bonded to a doll. Seemingly, by random, you're given a chance to try out other afterlives, and you are guided by three beautiful beings with unique personalities. Will you end up in the afterlife of your choice?

Cast:

The Holy Angel, Sariel

Sariel is an aloof and stoic angel. His face is unreadable, masking the deep sadness that has settled in his eyes. He carries himself with quiet dignity, with a hint of vulnerability shining from beneath his reserved demeanour.

"Why do you want to go to heaven? What afterlife do you want? Who do you want to be?"

The Proprietor of Purgatory, Nihilo

Nihilo is a mischievous being filled with mystery and intrigue. With an enigmatic smile, they teach souls that Purgatory can be a perfect afterlife, with puzzling sights that the mind never quite grasps, quite like the Proprietor themself.

"You might not know, but there are more options than Heaven, Hell and Purgatory."

The Daemon, Megaera

Megaera is a dangerously beautiful demon with a feisty personality to match. She commands attention and respect with an intimidating aura and quick wit. She doesn't mince her words; her tongue is as sharp as a cutlass as well as everything else about her.

"I will fill you to the brim with envy and jealousy. It will be everything you feel and breathe... and too intoxicating to leave it behind."
